Purple Style Labs, the parent company of multi-brand luxury platform Pernia’s Pop-Up Shop, has filed its Draft Red Herring Prospectus (DRHP) with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), outlining plans to raise up to ₹660 crore through an initial public offering. The listing, to be managed by Axis Capital Limited and IIFL Capital Services Limited, will mark a milestone for one of India’s fastest-growing luxury fashion companies.
Founded in 2014, Purple Style Labs has built one of the country’s largest luxury fashion ecosystems, hosting over 2.1 lakh SKUs from more than 1,300 designer brands across womenswear, menswear, jewellery, kidswear, and accessories. Its scale and pace of growth underscore the appetite for premium fashion in India: revenues surged to ₹508 crore in FY24 from ₹45 crore in FY20, reflecting a compound annual growth rate of 83 percent.
The company has leaned on a blended strategy of digital reach and physical presence. Its online platform attracted 18.57 million unique visitors in FY25, while large-format “Experience Centers” in Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and London bring in the element of high-touch, personalized service. The recently opened flagships in Mumbai and Delhi signal ambitions that extend beyond India, with New York set to follow as part of its international expansion.
Customer value optimization has been central to this trajectory. The top 50,000 customers contribute 96 percent of the platform’s gross merchandise value, with average order value rising from ₹39,499 in FY23 to ₹56,106 in FY25. Operational efficiencies have further strengthened the business, with EBITDA margins improving from 0.59 percent to 8.57 percent and sales and marketing costs nearly halved to under 7 percent of revenue in the same period.
Global demand is also reshaping the platform’s revenue mix. International sales now account for 28 percent of volume, with a presence in more than 100 countries. The United States, United Kingdom, Middle East, and Canada have emerged as key growth markets, reinforcing Purple Style Labs’ positioning as a bridge between Indian designer fashion and discerning global luxury shoppers.
As the company prepares to enter the public markets, the IPO is expected to provide capital for scaling operations and cement its leadership in an evolving Indian luxury fashion landscape. For Pernia’s Pop-Up Shop, the move signals not only maturity at home but also a growing influence on the international luxury stage.
