Ferrari 12Cilindri preview at Anvaya Conventions, Hyderabad
In a private showcase held in Hyderabad, Indulge Global, in association with Ferrari India, unveiled the Ferrari 12Cilindri to an audience of 50 handpicked HNIs—collectors, investors, and automotive connoisseurs. The car, Ferrari’s latest front-engine V12 grand tourer, marks the end of an era: it is likely the final naturally aspirated V12 the brand will produce.
The 12Cilindri features a 6.5-litre naturally aspirated V12 engine that delivers 819 hp at 9250 rpm and redlines at 9500 rpm. It accelerates from 0–100 km/h in 2.9 seconds, with a top speed exceeding 340 km/h. The rear-wheel-drive car uses an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission and is fitted with Ferrari’s first “Aspirated Torque Shaping” software—digitally modulating torque delivery to maintain a clean, rising power curve.
Compared to the outgoing 812 Superfast, the 12Cilindri has a 20mm shorter wheelbase and introduces four-wheel independent steering for improved agility and cornering. Materials have been optimised for weight and performance: titanium connecting rods, lightweight pistons, and F1-derived sliding finger followers reduce friction and boost efficiency.
Inside, the car features Ferrari’s most advanced Human-Machine Interface yet—three high-definition displays split between the driver, centre, and passenger, integrating vehicle data, media, and performance settings. An optional glass roof adds to the spacious feel, a feature noticed by guests.
“Personally, I love the car. The colour is beautiful. This is going to be the last of the powerful cars that Ferrari brings out. It’s way too spacious and snuggly,” said one attendee.
The response from collectors was notably reflective. “Ferrari being such an iconic brand—and this being the last naturally aspirated V12—is a big deal,” said Ram Machani, who has followed the marque for years. “The way they’ve presented it here is also amazing.”
Bangalore-based businessman Ravi Machani, who flew in for the event, called the car “investment meets appreciation meets a bit of mid-life crisis.”
The preview reflects a larger shift in how performance and provenance are perceived among India’s new wave of luxury buyers. As manufacturers move toward hybrid and electric platforms, this Ferrari may well become both a collectible and a closing chapter.
Priced at ₹8.5 crore (ex-showroom), the 12Cilindri is now open for booking in India.
