A Destination Pod is designed to occupy very little and reveal a great deal. The structure withdraws. The setting comes forward. What is built is held to the minimum a place needs, so that arrival feels less like entering a building and more like being placed within a landscape.

Siting precedes drawing. A pod begins with a long look at terrain: where the ground falls away, where the wind arrives, where the light lands at dawn and again at dusk. The structure is then set lightly into that reading, touching as little as possible. What surrounds it is not a setting for the architecture. It is the reason for it.

Compact is not the same as small. A reduced plan demands that every element earn its place: the depth of a threshold, the height of an opening, the line where the floor gives way to open ground.
